The 9th grade World Cultures class has been studying Nigerian culture. This week, they reenacted an adapted version of this two-day festival.  Earlier in the week, they held a somber, reflective ceremony. Today, in conjunction with International Women’s Day, the students put on a festive celebration chock-full of symbolism.
