The eighth grade experienced a new Focus Day this past year: Cardboard Boat Races!  In groups, they had one morning to assemble a floating boat from cardboard and plastic bottles.  The boat needed to be able to hold one student and get all the way across the pool.  It was quite a feat in engineering and creativity!
